Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician V to support TACOM‑managed systems. The role applies extensive engineering expertise to analyze problems, support system design, and lead troubleshooting and integration efforts with minimal supervision.

The position requires leadership and mentorship, cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and adherence to codes and standards while coordinating with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Contingent on award.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles across disciplines.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Experience evaluating engineering data and interpreting technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical oversight for complex facility projects and programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts across civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical domains.
• Manage and mentor lower‑graded technicians and review work for quality and compliance.
• Oversee CADD, GIS, and data system administration, backups, and archive management.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to meet objectives and schedules.
