Job summary

KBR, in partnership with TACOM, seeks a General Engineer to provide engineering analysis, design support, and problem-solving for TACOM-managed systems and facilities. This contingent position focuses on reliability, safety, and mission readiness across construction, renovation, and sustainment projects.

The role requires experience with multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil) and the ability to navigate complex specifications, cost considerations, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems) required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering for development and execution of construction, renovation and improvement projects for facilities.
• Project engineer for all phases of assigned work across multi-discipline scopes.
• Coordinate design analyses, cost estimates and specifications for complex structures.
• Review contractor bids, proposals and submittals; monitor progress and compliance with plans.
