Job summary

Rosendin seeks a Senior Engineering Team Lead in Sterling, VA to oversee large or complex projects and lead multiple Engineering Team Leads. You will manage resources, work plans, and fee development while ensuring QA/QC of design work and coordination with executives.

The role requires advanced engineering management skills, strong communication, and experience with electrical systems, studies, and construction coordination. This position is full-time with internal growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of engineering processes and calculations, including load calculations and distribution.
• Strong management skills: work planning, resource management and staff development.
• Ability to oversee complex projects and QA/QC of design work.
• Experience with electrical system studies and design package coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee resource allocation, fee disposition, and supervision of engineering staff.
• Coordinate with Project Executives and Division Managers on deliverables and support.
• QA/QC of designs and technical problem resolution.
• Coordinate with authorities and regulatory agencies as needed.
