Thermo Systems in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineering Team Lead (Sr.ETL) to build, grow, and manage a high-performing engineering team across control system projects.

The role blends leadership with hands-on guidance, while hands-on work remains limited to about 10%. You will recruit engineers, mentor talent, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to estimate effort, schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering field and 10+ years of combined technical and managerial experience.
• At least 3 years leading an engineering team.
• Experience with control systems design and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, training, development, and career progression of engineers.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard engineers from entry to senior levels.
• Develop a high-performance culture and align team with One Thermo.
• Provide high-level technical guidance on complex control system designs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to estimate tasks and schedules.
• Mentor teammates during startup and commissioning of systems.
