Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Engineering to lead multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure projects across New York and New Jersey. The role focuses on delivering scope, schedule, and budget with strong client relationships and technical leadership.

You will manage complex projects from scope through completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of successful management of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotation, and assist with technical proposals and contracts.
• Lead client liaison and manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to completion.
• Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Implements the firm’s project delivery plan using SDA on each project; develops and executes the project management plan.
• Oversee staffing, including recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff.
• Collaborate with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions for business development on mega projects.
