Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in category management, procurement, or sourcing, focused on engineering products/services.
• 3+ years of experience leading formal teams of direct reports.
• Strong modeling, cost optimization, and procurement strategy experience in engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of category strategies for engineering, vehicle testing, prototypes, and related services/tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering requirements with sourcing strategies.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for cost-effective design, manufacturing, and procurement decisions.
• Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships in engineering categories.
• Negotiate long-term contracts and pricing terms to secure cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain teams to align strategies with goals.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for engineering categories.
