Job summary

Lucid Motors in California is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager for Electronics Components to own, maintain, and report on commercial and supply chain data, including demand forecasts, supplier orders, pricing, indices, and trends. The role focuses on optimizing purchasing costs and supplier performance across the electronics supply base.

You will build tools and automations, keep progress trackers, and document processes so the organization benefits from the models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum experience in Data Science, Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• Prefer PCBAs or electronics purchasing.
• Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply-Chain or Finance.
• Ability to adapt, improvise, and solve problems independently on multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal skills and organizational and program management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Prefer experience with automation tools: Python, SQL, dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and report-on core datasets: demand forecasts, supplier orders, pricing, indexes, trends
• Develop and maintain tools and processes/automations to optimize EE components purchasing and reduce costs
• Maintain progress trackers and documentation for reports and models
• Track internal and external cost impacts from suppliers and engineering changes
• Conduct regular market analyses to identify trends and support price negotiations
