Job summary

Teradyne in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering Program Management to lead the Memory Test Division Program Management function. You will build a high-performing PM team and drive disciplined product development across the organization.

This role requires deep expertise in product development, strong leadership, and the ability to push for timely decisions and alignment across engineering, operations, and support functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in program and project management within a complex technology environment.
• Deep expertise in product development best practices with a track record of disciplined execution across cross-functional organizations.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing Program Management teams.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change, influence stakeholders, and increase adoption of strong program and product development practices.
• Strong executive communication and organizational leadership skills, with the ability to create alignment, drive decisions, and elevate program management maturity.
• Experience leading teams and programs across global or multi-site organizations.
• Experience developing talent and building a culture of accountability and execution excellence.
• PMI affiliation and PMP certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Program Management team to strengthen capability and execution excellence.
• Establish and reinforce disciplined product development and program management practices across the division.
• Drive high-quality planning and execution with strong structure, schedule rigor, resource alignment, and clear accountability.
• Partner with engineering, marketing, applications, operations, and support to align priorities and improve cross-functional execution.
• Provide leadership visibility into program health, risks, scope changes, and decision points; escalate when needed.
• Build organizational awareness and adoption of PM practices through change leadership and coaching.
• Oversee risk, issue, and change management across the portfolio to support predictable outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM processes, tools, and operating rhythms.
