Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, New Product Introduction, to lead a team of Product and Hardware Engineers. You will shepherd transitions from development into high-volume manufacturing, serving as the bridge between Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Customer Engineering to ensure successful launches and ongoing reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; MS or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in engineering roles in semiconductor test equipment or related.
• 5+ years of people management in engineering teams.
• Experience with mixed-signal, power, digital, or precision instrumentation hardware.
• Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and reliability practices.
• Experience supporting global manufacturing and supply chain.
• Proven track record taking products from development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product and Hardware Engineers.
• Drive New Product Introduction activities from design release through manufacturing ramp.
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management teams.
• Ensure product readiness for high-volume production, quality, reliability, and cost targets.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and manufacturing issues.
• Drive manufacturing readiness reviews, qualification plans, and release processes.
• Manage project schedules, risks, resource allocation, and executive status reporting.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives for yield, reliability, and operational efficiency.
