Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Project Management Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role focuses on leading large government projects, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables across stakeholders, and mentoring other PMs within the Project Operations Group.

You will oversee status reporting, risk mitigation, and engagement with customers for technical reviews, while ensuring compliance with defense standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 8+ years of experience in project management; engineering project management preferred.
• Experience with project management methodology such as Catalyst including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices.
• Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors.
• Experience with delivery assurance principles and procedures.
• Experience with architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage large government projects with scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables across stakeholders.
• Document engineering project baselines and decompose work into components.
• Identify resources and coordinate with staff for successful completion.
• Review project status and escalate issues early to management.
• Interface with stakeholders to manage change orders in scope, cost, and schedule.
• Lead reviews of RFPs and help develop technical elements, schedule, and price estimates.
