Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Engineering Operations Manager to lead the Engineering Operations program at the client’s HQ in San Jose, CA. You will oversee maintenance programs, asset reliability, and safety across critical environments, coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure reliable performance and high client satisfaction.

The role requires 10+ years in facilities engineering with strong leadership, and deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, BAS/BMS, and life-safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; 10+ years in facilities/engineering operations.
• Leadership experience: 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting large campuses or complex corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, BAS/BMS, generators, and related systems.
• Experience with KPI-driven decision making and budget/forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Engineering Operations across the client's HQ campus.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and reactive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
• Manage budgets, contracts, vendors, and capital project support.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Engineering staff, and manage union relations as needed.
