Job summary

bunny.net is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Storage, Stream, and Frontend, driving architecture, scale, and growth across three core areas. You will coach engineering leads, stay close to technology, and ensure teams deliver high-quality, reliable products for customers.

You will shape the roadmap, balance priorities, and partner with Growth, Support, and senior leadership to translate customer needs into actionable work.

Qualifications

• Experience owning one or more products end-to-end and leading product and engineering from discovery to growth.
• Experience leading multiple teams and guiding priorities to unblock decisions.
• Background in storage, streaming, CDN/edge, or developer platforms (or adjacent with fast depth).
• Strong technical judgment across distributed systems, architecture, and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for Storage, Stream, and Frontend and define what success looks like for the business.
• Lead and grow three-area teams with product and engineering ownership as capabilities expand.
• Coach engineering leads and help others take on bigger ownership.
• Dive deep on architecture decisions, trade-offs, and high engineering bar for reliability, scalability, and security.
• Build planning and delivery habits to ship fast without burnout or lost processes.
• Be the go-to engineering voice, aligning with Growth, Support, leadership, and other teams to translate customer needs into priorities.
• Periodically step in during incidents or strategy shifts to bring clarity and momentum.
• Leverage data and customer insights to guide priorities and growth.
