Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to coach multiple teams delivering real-time data products on a modern data mesh. You will architect scalable microservices in Java/Spring Boot, drive AI-assisted development governance, and improve reliability across AWS, Kafka/Kinesis, and Databricks platforms.

You will own features end-to-end, lead code reviews, and raise engineering standards while mentoring engineers and partnering with data teams across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-team enterprise initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and coaching for a team of engineers.
• Set operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation.
• Drive efficiency, quality, and reliability across teams.
