Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering within the Consumer & Community Banking Digital Technology team in the United States. You will mentor multiple technical teams, drive platform modernization, and influence budget and technical decisions to advance operational efficiency and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
2+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items
Experience building scalable Java-based microservices
Cloud-native AWS experience with EKS/ECS/Fargate and S3

Responsibilities

Oversee platform strategy and modernization with cloud-first and data-first approaches
Lead multi-team design of high-throughput, low-latency services
Mentor 8-10 engineers in a matrix environment
Establish governance for AI-assisted development and SDLC automation
Develop secure, production-grade code and promote best practices across teams
