Ripple is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Payments Orchestration team, delivering scalable, secure APIs for global cross-border payments. You will drive the strategic evolution of the Payments Orchestration vision and uphold high standards of reliability and compliance.

You will hire and mentor engineers, partner across functions, and shape a roadmap balancing immediate delivery with durable architecture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Senior Engineering Manager leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success using Generative AI or Agentic workflows to accelerate development or product innovation.
• Managed engineering teams of 10+ engineers.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Experience guiding complex system migrations and legacy decoupling.
• Ability to align engineering, product, compliance and legal into a coherent strategy.
• Proven track record delivering platforms with reliability, auditability and compliance in regulated environments.
• Experience building teams that scale across regions and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, hire and lead a high-performing team focused on the Payments Orchestration layer.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Services, Compliance, and other teams to deliver API capabilities.
• Build for global scale across geographies and regulatory requirements.
• Define and implement a technical roadmap balancing near-term delivery with long-term durability.
• Promote engineering excellence in design, testing, security, observability and operations.
