Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage the engineering function for a nuclear site in the United States. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality technical results while guiding a team of engineers and coordinating with site and corporate stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, PE or SRO certification, and at least five years of engineering experience including nuclear plant exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science, or PE/SRO with 5 years' engineering experience including 1 year in a nuclear plant.
• Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standards for qualification and training of personnel for Nuclear Power Plants.
• Maintain required access and pass medical examination in line with position duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering function to meet station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and mentor engineering personnel toward site and corporate objectives and high-quality results.
• Directly and through staff, lead short-term and long-term programs affecting plant operations.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budgeting and Performance reviews for the assigned staff.
• Contribute as senior resource to NGG-wide programs and standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Perform other duties including emergency response, outage support and cross-department coverage.
