Job summary

Constellation Energy in the United States seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage the engineering function and ensure regulatory compliance for nuclear-focused operations. You will guide staff, oversee station needs, and drive programs aligned with site goals and corporate objectives.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, safety, and the delivery of high-quality engineering results across short- and long-term initiatives, including outage support and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science; PE license or active/inactive SRO license with 5 years of engineering or related experience, including 1 year nuclear experience.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for selection, qualification, and training of personnel for Nuclear Power Plants.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access and pass medical examinations/testing as applicable to position duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives; focus on high-quality engineering results.
• Directly and through subordinates fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Act as senior resource to NGG-wide programs and initiatives on standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response, outage support, and coverage across departments.
