Job summary

Qualifications

• Progressive product design engineering experience with complex technical decisions.
• Experience leading people, priorities, and multiple development projects.
• Strong command of mechanical design, CAD, GD&T, materials, and verification methods.
• Ability to guide engineers through difficult design problems and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team, set priorities, allocate resources, and manage commitments.
• Provide hands-on technical direction for product architecture, mechanical design, and tolerances.
• Lead design reviews and address risks before release.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications and validation plans.
• Oversee drawings, BOMs, calculations, changes, and release processes.
• Collaborate with sales and customers on feasibility, requirements, proposals, and custom solutions.
• Work with manufacturing and quality to improve manufacturability and support new product introduction.
• Build engineering capability through coaching and standards.
