Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and PE licensure.
• 7–10+ years of engineering product design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project objectives, concepts, design approaches and specifications.
• Ensure component manufacturability and cost effectiveness.
• Confirm product performance.
• Instruct CAD drawing preparation, layout requirements, tolerances and material specs.
• Lead R&D and testing of new products and improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, Customer Service and Production to resolve field issues.
• Provide technical specifications for marketing new products.
