Job summary

Lyft’s Luxury team seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, owning app experiences and infrastructure for Black, Black SUV, and other upmarket modes.

You will set technical direction, trade off investments, and communicate strategy across teams and leadership, driving cross-functional alignment and engineering excellence to improve the luxury experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams of 20+ members.
• Experience growing managers and staff engineers.
• Ability to balance technical investments with product work.
• Collaborative, cross-functional environment, driving projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of backend, frontend, and mobile engineers and engineering managers.
• Mentor and guide professional and technical development of team members.
• Build collaborative, inclusive, and respectful teams.
• Set technical vision and strategy for the product area.
• Co-own product strategy with product partner and ensure timely delivery.
