Job summary

Methode Electronics, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Project Engineering teams and drive the development of advanced power systems and technologies.

You will provide technical leadership, ensure engineering excellence, and deliver programs meeting customer, quality, cost, and timing objectives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in power-related products (HV/LV architectures) and a strong integration of design, development, and manufacturing to ensure scalable, high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience in systems engineering delivering complex solutions.
• 5+ years leadership or people management experience.
• Deep understanding of LV/HV architectures and applicable safety/regulatory standards (ISO, UL, IEC).
• Strong project management with written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional global teams and driving results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering team and foster growth, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership for design, development, integration and validation of engineering solutions.
• Manage multiple programs with schedules, budgets and resource plans; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support manufacturing and supply chain to address product and process challenges; mitigate risks.
• Engage with customers through technical reviews and proposals; align solutions with requirements.
• Champion innovation and contribute to roadmaps for long-term competitiveness.
