Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Foundations team, owning infrastructure and platform used by all engineering. You will grow the team from 7 to 12 engineers, shape reliability, and drive architectural direction with a strong emphasis on scalability and operational rigor.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to establish a culture of accountability, timely delivery, and high-quality software, while advancing agentic AI-enabled development

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform/infrastructure teams in high-growth environments.
• Deep fluency in cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and observability.
• Strong software engineering background with Go, Python, TypeScript, or Ruby.
• Production experience with SQL and PostgreSQL at scale.
• Proven track record of on-call programs and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Foundations team from 7 to 12+ engineers and beyond.
• Maintain a high-trust, high-standards culture with visible leadership.
• Drive delivery with quarterly goals and clear milestones.
• Set technical strategy and architecture for platform initiatives.
• Own reliability and on-call discipline with proactive incident management.
