Elbit America is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering (Finance) to provide direct oversight within the business unit, driving strategic plans to deliver products in line with customer needs. The role focuses on quality, process improvement and financial management of products or services.

The Senior Manager will oversee cost estimates, budgeting, and resource planning, ensuring staffing aligns with goals while promoting cost effectiveness and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a business unit within a for-profit organization.
• Ability to plan, staff, budget and promote cost effectiveness.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and utilizes resources to accomplish work and informs the Director.
• Leads cost estimation, budget proposals and staffing plans.
• Directs budget justifications and approvals with minimal questions.
• Ensures staff planning aligns with department goals and objectives.
• Assesses candidates for skills and suitability for vacant positions.
• Promotes learning through constructive conflict and collaboration.
• Builds trust and cooperation among work group leaders.
• Delegates tasks to meet timelines and achieve goals.
• Explains duties and priorities to managers to align with org objectives.
