Job summary

IBM Software seeks a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Experience Foundations team and to scale UI foundations across multiple interfaces (API/CLI/TF/VSCode/MCP). You will drive patterns, security, networking, and billing UI improvements while partnering with Governance, Flink, Kafka, Connect, and Tableflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong frontend engineering expertise with React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the Experience Foundations platform from UI‑only to cross‑portfolio.
• Establish reusable patterns and best practices for UI engineers in Security/Networking/Billing.
• Collaborate with Governance, Flink, Kafka, Connect, Tableflow, and other teams.
• Mentor engineers across multiple disciplines and levels.
• Partner with Product and Design to drive aligned execution and developer productivity.
