Endeavor4 is seeking an experienced Manager, Engineering to lead day-to-day engineering delivery across active engagements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role responsible for owning team performance, technical execution, and release coordination while remaining hands-on with design, technical problem solving, and delivery oversight.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management or related enterprise ERP platforms.
• Strong experience in engineering delivery, including development, integrations, and technical architecture.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Deep understanding of X++, integrations, reporting, and technical design practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.
• Experience leading code reviews, technical design decisions, and engineering standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Approves Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and leads design reviews to ensure accuracy, alignment to standards, and performance considerations
• Owns code review and pull request (PR) approval standards, ensuring quality gates are enforced across development and integration work
• Oversees engineering delivery across X++ development, integrations, data entities, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Electronic Reporting (ER), and technical unit testing
• Drives technical decisions across architecture, platform design, independent software vendor (ISV) solutions, and performance optimization and system scalability in partnership with Director, Technology and Technical Architect
• Remains hands-on in complex design, code review, and technical problem solving as a player-coach
• Leads engineering team performance, including coaching, mentorship, and career development
• Sets priorities, work assignments, and execution sequencing across Lead, Senior, and Application Engineers
• Owns hiring, onboarding, and capability development across the engineering team
• Identifies skill gaps and builds technical capability to support delivery and long-term growth
• Provides ongoing feedback, guidance, and performance management to team members
• Owns production issue escalation, root cause analysis, and support performance
• Manages enhancement backlog planning and delivery in partnership with functional and delivery leadership
• Leads release planning, including platform updates and One Version upgrade cycles
• Ensures coordination across build, validation, and release activities to enable stable and predictable delivery
• Owns engineering delivery quality, velocity, and predictability across active engagements
• Accountable for technical design quality, code standards, technical unit testing, and defect resolution
• Responsible for team performance, staffing alignment, and professional development of engineers
• Drives continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and delivery standards
• Ensures release readiness and platform stability across all client environments
