Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Digital & Mixed-Signal Hardware to lead a growing team delivering high‑performance electronics for satellites, UAVs, and space platforms. You will guide architecture, design reviews, and mentor engineers while ensuring on‑time delivery and production readiness.

This is a hands‑off management role with close technical oversight, shaping standards, toolchains, and processes across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of direct digital or mixed-signal hardware engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity and timing.
• Experience with DFM/DFT and transfer to production.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous technical reviews and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for digital and mixed-signal electronics.
• Establish scalable digital hardware development processes and standards.
• Provide architecture reviews and mentorship across multiple disciplines.
• Lead or support complex debug efforts on high-speed interfaces and FPGA/processor implementations.
• Drive handoff to manufacturing with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure designs meet aerospace quality, reliability, and scalability requirements.
