Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale core platform services that orchestrate data and content across Falcon products.

The role focuses on high-performance, scalable infrastructure that handles internet-scale data streams for real-time detections. The position is hybrid, based in NYC with in-office visits twice a week. You will lead architecture, contribute to DCMP/CMS, and drive CI/CD tooling while mentoring engineers and collaborating with

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience at scale
• Expertise in one or more modern languages (Go preferred)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with data streaming (Kafka, Flink) and distributed computing
• Knowledge of SIEM concepts or cybersecurity is a plus
• Strong communication and leadership for staff-level roles
• Experience applying AI technologies to workflows would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core platform services ingesting and routing security events
• Drive architecture for Detection Content Management Platform (DCMP/CMS)
• Develop scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Go and related tech
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers and align teams on technical roadmaps
