Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an exceptionally skilled Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple software teams focused on voice and chat bot solutions. You will guide development from requirements to deployment, mentoring engineers, and driving Agile practices to deliver high-quality software that enhances customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years leading engineers and 10+ years in cloud-based software with strong skills in modern languages and APIs.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing engineers.
10+ years of designing and building software in cloud environments.
10+ years of experience in languages such as Typescript, Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, SQL.
10+ years of experience with APIs, microservices, and modern software patterns.
5+ years of soliciting complex requirements and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
5+ years independently managing deliverables.
Experience with AI developmental tools.

Responsibilities

Lead two or more software engineering teams, providing mentorship and ensuring effectiveness.
Participate in Agile Scrum activities including planning, refinements, daily scrum, and retrospectives.
Contribute to design reviews and set engineering best practices, including AI tools.
Collaborate with product teams, architects, and senior engineers on solutions.
Hire, evaluate, and grow high-performing engineering teams.
Oversee SDLC and ensure secure, scalable architecture and practices.
