Savvy Wealth is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead three engineering teams building the AI-enabled wealth platform. You will translate product direction into technical execution, mentor senior engineers, and maintain high quality as we scale.

This is a hands-on leadership role based in NYC with a remote LATAM team aligning to the same hours. You’ll drive architecture, code reviews, and engineering standards across product and platform work, leveraging AI tooling to boost velocity and

Qualifications

• Experience leading remote or distributed engineering teams.
• 3+ years managing engineers, including delivery, performance, hiring, and growth.
• Proficient with AI tools in daily workflow and translating that into team execution.
• Track record of end-to-end shipping of complex product and platform work with measurable impact.
• Strong full-stack or platform engineering depth across the stack (Rails, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across functions in a startup.
• Willingness to relocate to NYC and work in person at HQ.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery health across three engineering teams and ensure predictable shipping.
• Grow and retain a high-performing team through coaching and feedback.
• Lead hiring for the three teams and maintain a tight interview loop.
• Stay hands-on: review code, set engineering patterns, and make architectural calls.
• Champion AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to raise velocity.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to scope work and de-risk high-ambiguity problems.
