Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering - Shop Technology to drive the technical vision for shop-facing platforms and lead a team in a native AI-first environment. This role balances hands-on engineering with leadership, fostering innovation and collaboration to deliver high-quality applications.

They will coach and grow a team, oversee architecture and API design, and manage integrations with multiple SaaS vendors to support shop operations and HQ functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with mobile emphasis, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering roles.
• 4+ years leading an engineering team.
• Deep expertise in managing 3rd party SaaS ecosystems and integrating applications.
• 2+ years experience with AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the platform roadmap with Delivery and Business teams.
• Build and grow the engineering team in a native AI-first environment.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
• Lead solution design and code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end integration of Shop Tech systems and APIs.
