Job summary

Commure is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for the team that owns the financial core of our revenue cycle product, including the ledger, the close-ready reports, and the analytics CFOs rely on to make informed decisions.

You will lead a 6–8 person engineering team, set the roadmap with product partners, and drive multi-quarter migrations with parity checks while keeping month-end close intact and numbers correct.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing software engineers including senior and staff-level ICs.
• Experience shipping financial, reporting, or data-intensive systems where numbers must tie.
• Backend and data fluency; review query plans and debug parity failures.
• Set direction for a product surface and roadmap 12 months ahead.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of 6 to 8 engineers.
• Set the roadmap with your product partner to enable customers to build their own reports and close their books without escalation.
• Own financial correctness with shadow parity harnesses, drift monitoring, and correctness SLOs.
• Lead multi-quarter migrations (ledger report migration, OLAP views) with parity checks.
• Own the customer relationships at the top of the stack with comptrollers and CFOs at large sites.
• Run cross-team execution with payments/posting, data infrastructure, and operations to protect downstream numbers.
