Imprint is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager in New York to lead a growing engineering organization. You will drive roadmap, balance product, compliance, and financial realities, and mentor engineers across backend, frontend, and platform components.

You will use AI tools to stay close to technical work, shape team priorities, and collaborate with product, legal, and capital markets to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• Proven track record building and retaining strong engineering teams.
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on engagement or AI fluency.
• Experience managing Staff-level ICs and growing engineers.
• Experience in complex domains like financial systems or regulated environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team to define roadmap and deliver outcomes.
• Represent Engineering in strategy discussions with product, compliance, legal, and capital markets.
• Apply AI tools to investigate codebases, assess feasibility, and clarify asks.
• Hire, develop, and retain engineers and balance short- and long-term priorities.
• Own outcomes in a high-growth company, shipping across products and platform.
• Communicate clearly in writing and in meetings with executives and engineers.
