Job summary

Imprint is seeking a Data Engineering Senior Manager to lead our Data Engineering organization as we scale the platform and analytics capabilities. You will build and develop a high-performing team, raise the bar for analytics engineering, and design the platform for rapid, high-quality data development across the company.

Qualifications

• Experience introducing AI-assisted workflows at scale.
• Experience in a high-growth startup, fintech, or similar data-critical environment.
• A track record of building and leading data/analytics engineering teams, including hiring and developing leaders.
• Deep expertise in analytics engineering with dbt and transforming complex domains into reusable models.
• Strong technical judgment to evaluate data models and architectures.
• Strong SQL fluency and familiarity with Python and modern software practices.
• Ability to move between strategy and detail with first-principles thinking.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an exceptional Data Engineering team. Hire great engineers, coach and develop the team, grow senior technical leaders, set a high performance bar, and create a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Use AI to increase speed and quality across the analytics engineering lifecycle.
• Set the technical direction for Data Engineering and guide architectural decisions.
• Partner across Infrastructure, Analytics, Data Science, Product, Engineering, Finance to build a data ecosystem for faster decisions.
• Shape the future of the Data organization with leadership on design, hiring, and roadmap priorities.
