Job summary

Pockyt, building the AI-native infrastructure for global money movement, seeks a founding engineer for the NYC Applied AI team. You will own critical systems end-to-end, drive agentic workflows, and mentor a growing team from day one while reporting to the CEO and collaborating with senior leaders.

You will shape the technical foundation, deploy high-leverage AI solutions, and align engineering practices with business outcomes in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production software and owning critical systems end-to-end.
• Strong full-stack instincts across Java, TypeScript (Vue), and Golang; comfortable moving across frontend, backend, data plumbing, and integrations.
• Experience designing agentic or workflow systems that touch real-world state with safety, observability, and rollback as first-class concerns.

Responsibilities

• Own critical systems end-to-end, mentor the team, and set engineering standards.
• Design and ship agentic AI workflows with guardrails, eval frameworks, and observable metrics.
• Collaborate with executives and product leadership to align technical delivery with business goals.
