Job summary

GoCardless is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, designers and data scientists. You will own the payment intelligence products and partner with product management to decide what to build next.

You’ll ensure quality, delivery and operations while supporting your team’s growth and development. You’ll drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and collaborate across product teams to deliver impactful solutions that improve payment success and cash flow

Qualifications

• Proven coding experience with Python and Ruby on Rails for backend systems.
• Strong frontend skills with JavaScript/React and well-tested UI delivery.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers, designers and data scientists.
