Citi is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead large-scale application development for Funds Administration and Accounting Technology. You will blend hands-on Java depth with cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software development in enterprise Java environments.
• Hands-on with Java/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and data architectures across relational and NoSQL DBs.
• Experience building microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems at scale.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) with CI/CD and containerization in production.
• Strong leadership in Agile teams and ability to translate concepts to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple software teams, set technical direction and review performance.
• Design and deliver high-performance, large-scale Java applications across Funds Accounting domain.
• Define and enforce architecture standards aligned with Citi guidelines.
• Conduct design/code reviews and promote AI-assisted development practices.
• Collaborate with global engineers, analysts, DevOps and support staff to deliver solutions.
• Drive adoption of Agentic AI and ML frameworks delivering business value.
