Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Manager of Software Engineering within Employee Platforms in Columbus. You will lead multiple teams, guide day-to-day implementation activities, ensure compliance and alignment with business requirements, and drive enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate delivery and quality.

You will manage stakeholders, define working patterns, and ensure secure handling of data across teams while maintaining governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists.
• Experience leading responsible adoption of AI-assisted development across engineering teams.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and governance expectations.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to the immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities.
• Sets overall guidance and expectations for team output and collaboration.
• Leads team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Applies knowledge of the SDLC toolchain to improve automation and support capacity unlock initiatives.
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications per business requirements.
• Manages stakeholder relationships and team work in line with compliance, SLAs and requirements.
