Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead multiple teams within the Employee Platforms group. You will guide day-to-day implementation activities, ensure compliance with business requirements, and drive best practices across the SDLC with AI-assisted tooling.

Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, aligning team output with enterprise standards, and managing stakeholder relationships to deliver complex technology initiatives from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities.
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
• Leads team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC/TLM automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve automation value and support capacity initiatives.
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements.
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards and SLAs.
