Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in microservices development, UI development, and people management
• Hands-on development with core Java technologies, Spring/Spring Boot, and event-based microservices in AWS/Cloud
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices/RESTful APIs, relational/NoSQL databases
• Hands-on with data streaming and messaging (Kafka, Spark) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Mentoring engineers on technical growth and AI-assisted development, fostering quality and safety
• Proven leadership applying AI/automation tools to accelerate delivery and day-to-day work
• Strong ability to influence and communicate with executives; align roadmaps and business impact

Responsibilities

• Own the technical integrity and quality of the team's delivery, partnering on design and planning
• Ensure development quality with unit testing, peer reviews, and automated remediation
• Mentor team members to progress technical and professional skills and promote inclusion
• Partner with product and business leaders to align roadmaps and secure cross-functional buy-in
• Lead cross-team delivery and raise engineering standards for design, reliability, and security
• Build and integrate AI capabilities into products and platforms
