Job summary

You will influence budget decisions and advance AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring security and reliability across platforms. You will oversee high-throughput, low-latency services, mentor engineers, and shape architecture, design artifacts, and SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying software engineering concepts with leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering scalable Java-based microservices.
• Experience leading multi-team AI-assisted development and governance.
• Cloud-native AWS experience (EKS, ECS, S3).
• Proven ability to design secure, high-throughput systems.
• Strong matrix management experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage platform strategy and modernization (cloud-first, data-first).
• Champion engineering best practices for stream processing and microservices.
• Lead design of high-throughput, low-latency applications with ML architectures on AWS.
• Develop secure, scalable microservices and review code.
• Set operating practices for enterprise AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation.
• Drive reuse of firm technology assets and measure throughput, defects, and reliability.
• Lead a team of 8-10 engineers in a matrix environment.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex components.
