Job summary

Consolidated Nuclear Security in Oak Ridge seeks an Engineering Line Supervisor to lead the Division Managed Design team, directing engineers, setting priorities, and ensuring safety and project execution. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to energize and organize engineering personnel.

The candidate will guide staffing, performance reviews, and technical direction, aiming to meet scope, budget, and schedule while supporting the Y-12 mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program in the United States or designated equivalents.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering leadership experience.
• Must meet DOE qualification requirements and be able to obtain/maintain a DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to Design Engineers.
• Oversee safety, workload, and performance against scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Identify staffing needs and provide long- and short-term direction for the team.
• Lead engineers in technical matters including data analysis and SME review.
