Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking an experienced technical leader for the Chester Mill site to drive process optimization in tissue manufacturing and converting. You will lead safety, quality and sustainability initiatives, mentor a diverse engineering team, and implement best-practice standards across the mill through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

You will shape capability within salary and hourly teams, pursue cost-saving programs, and partner with external service providers to deliver innovative

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years industrial experience.
  • Solid background of technical knowledge with leadership of a technical team.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership by example in safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability.
  • Support the Quality Management Process and HR development policies.
  • Manage self with LEAN principles and drive process improvement.
  • Protect proprietary technology and trade secrets.
  • Conceive, develop, validate and teach ideas for new or improved processes/products.
  • Locate tech solutions 3–5 years from commercialization.
  • Apply engineering principles to advance process innovation.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers and management with integrity.
  • Coach team members to grow leadership.
  • Document and report unit work per policy and KC requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with mill technical resources and suppliers.
