Job summary

Elbit-America in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering to provide direct management oversight within the business unit, guiding product/service delivery to meet customer needs.

This role executes strategic plans, drives quality, process improvement and financial management, and leads staff planning and budgeting to achieve department goals with a focus on Lean manufacturing and supply chain practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Master's degree or PhD is optional.
• ESD Safety Training within one year of taking position.
• Strong leadership and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and uses resources necessary for accomplishing work and reports to the Director.
• Leads cost-efficient task execution while improving processes.
• Leads preparation of accurate cost estimates and budget proposals.
• Directs staff planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Assesses qualifications and hires/promotes best-fit candidates.
• Communicates with senior management and aligns tasks with objectives.
