Job summary
Snap Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team responsible for high-scale, consumer-facing products. You will set technical vision, mentor engineers, and partner with product, design, data science, and operations to deliver impact at scale.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- 10+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience.
- 2+ years as an engineering manager or technical leader.
- Experience architecting distributed systems and business-critical products.
- Experience leading and scaling engineering teams to deliver complex work.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Set technical vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable goals.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Operations, and other Engineering teams.
- Design, implement, and scale critical product components and services.
- Drive technical execution across a portfolio of initiatives.
- Establish high bar for availability, performance, privacy, and security.
- Provide technical direction beyond the immediate team.
- Hire, retain, and develop engineers and leaders.
- Communicate with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
