Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall professional experience with 4+ years in people leadership.
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple workstreams and executive stakeholders.
• Proven success delivering enterprise modernization, platform migration, or related initiatives.
• Strong governance, planning, risk and issue resolution, and executive communications.
• Ability to explain technical concepts related to cloud, APIs, data platforms, and distributed systems.
• Experience leading data engineering teams and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated modernization plan across application delivery, data engineering, migration, and cutover.
• Lead and develop a high-performing data engineering organization with staffing and coaching.
• Provide inclusive people leadership through mentoring, feedback, and career development.
• Define and execute data engineering strategy for ingestion, transformation, quality, metadata, and lineage.
• Oversee data platform delivery across Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Redshift, S3, and related tech.
• Establish engineering standards for scalable pipelines, testing, observability, and cost management.
• Partner with architecture, governance, analytics, risk, and business teams for data ownership and compliance.
• Coordinate scope, milestones, dependencies across APIs, Kafka/Avro, data models, and infrastructure.
• Manage program governance with executive reporting, risk resolution, and change management.
• Build relationships with senior leaders, product owners, and vendors, driving accountability.
