You will lead cross-discipline teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities, scale teams, and influence strategy with senior leaders while driving a culture of ownership. The role emphasizes rigorous engineering practices, Agile delivery, and adherence to safety and verification standards across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 12+ years of related experience; graduate degree with 10+ years recommended.
• Experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with workforce planning, staffing strategy, recruiting, and talent development.
• Experience with EVMS/CAM responsibilities and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more cross-discipline engineering teams, including planning, staffing, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Own functional execution for scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality across projects and programs.
• Implement and scale an integrated operating model with clear ownership and accountability.
• Establish repeatable engineering processes, common tools, and shared metrics for interoperability.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across a portfolio of programs to deliver results.
• Build workforce plans and talent capacity for current and future needs.
• Own recruiting, performance management, coaching, and development of high-performing teams.
• Drive disciplined engineering rigor to improve first-time-right execution and reduce rework.
• Enable Agile delivery and rapid prototyping while maintaining safety and verification standards.
• Collaborate on proposals, cost estimates, and manpower planning with program management and chiefs engineers.
