Job summary

Jobtailor in Massachusetts is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure specialist to lead DevSecOps, cost management, and Snowflake administration across multi-cloud environments. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC deployments, security tooling, and cloud cost reporting, collaborating with data engineers and software teams to optimize performance, security, and cost.

Qualifications

7+ years experience across Cloud.
Strong experience with CI/CD tooling and DevSecOps practices.
Proficiency with Terraform or other IaC frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Azure/GCP security and automation.
Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.
Expertise in Snowflake administration, SQL, and data-warehouse operations.
Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and FinOps principles.
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security architecture.
Experience in API and security principles.
AI and Agentic frameworks.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/ML or related field.
Understanding of AI and LLM frameworks like Langchain, Langgraph.
Understanding of experiment design, CICD and orchestration models.
Familiarity with modern techniques to fine tune LLM.
Experience developing Python packages as an open-source developer/contributor.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Work with teams building applications using billions of records of retail and healthcare data
Help lead teams to deliver outcomes for partners
Support DevSecOps and security automation initiatives
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
Integrate SAST, SCA, DAST, and container scanning into build and deployment workflows
Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
Enforce security baselines, secrets management, and identity/access controls across cloud platforms
Monitor vulnerabilities, remediate findings, and collaborate with security teams on compliance requirements
Build secure containerization and orchestration guardrails using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
Develop and maintain Azure cloud cost dashboards and automated reporting using Azure Cost Management and Tableau
Analyze cost trends, identify anomalies, and recommend optimization strategies
Partner with engineering teams to embed cost awareness into design and deployment decisions
Implement tagging standards and cost-allocation models across multi-cloud environments
Support budgeting, forecasting, and showback/chargeback processes
Provide monthly and quarterly cost insights to leadership and finance teams
Evaluate and manage AI offerings with Cloud Security and Governance groups
Roll out proofs of concept and track AI token usage and associated costs
Manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, roles, and resource monitors
Optimize warehouse sizing, auto-suspend/auto-resume, and query performance
Oversee RBAC, data masking, and Snowflake security policies
Oversee data ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, and external stages
Monitor Snowflake storage usage, compute consumption, and cost drivers
Support schema design, database lifecycle management, and BI tool integration
Troubleshoot performance issues and collaborate with data engineering teams
Work with colleagues as an individual contributor; no direct reports
