Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to drive scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and AI/ML frameworks. You will oversee multiple teams, ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing while aligning work with strategic roadmaps.

You will architect cloud-native distributed systems, mentor engineers, translate business needs into technical requirements, and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to sustain quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Extensive experience leading platform engineering initiatives, including shared infrastructure and scalable ML frameworks.
• Proficiency in cloud-native architecture and distributed system design ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Strong expertise in full software development lifecycle management across multiple teams.
