Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead AI-powered applications for the Sales organization at our Santa Clara HQ.

You will guide full‑stack product engineering, AI architectures, data platforms, and platform services, building production-grade systems that scale with enterprise needs. You will collaborate with Product, Sales Operations, and Security to deliver seller productivity improvements and forecasting across the GTM stack.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building enterprise software, platforms, and distributed systems.
• 4+ years of engineering management leading software teams.
• Strong software architecture across frontend, backend, APIs, and data stores.
• Hands-on backend focus with Java, Python, Go or equivalent.
• Experience delivering AI-powered enterprise applications using LLMs and agents.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containers, Kubernetes, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of frontend, backend, AI, and platform engineers.
• Architect and deliver AI-powered Sales applications and intelligent workflows.
• Own modern application development across frontend, APIs, data stores, and integration.
• Drive AI adoption, tool calling, model orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• Define scalable architecture patterns and make build-vs-buy decisions.
• Partner with Product, Data, Security, and Enterprise teams to deliver value.
