BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Application Solutions Specialist to provide expert support for engineering applications and workflows.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate solutions across Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and other business units, and contribute to testing, process improvements, and documentation. The role emphasizes mentoring, ensuring incidents are resolved promptly, and driving standardization and data quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of business related experience in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of relevant experience with engineering applications or related systems.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical and business process issues in engineering environments.
• Knowledge of engineering document control, design standards, and manufacturing integration processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for multiple complex engineering applications (e.g., Vision, Tekla, Autodesk Suite, RISA).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve workflows.
• Participate in software testing, upgrades, releases, bug resolution, and implementations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, automation, and data quality.
• Mentor team members and users on application functionality and best practices.
